I’ve just update my June availability and, in the time it took to update it, it changed because I booked three people before I hit the publish button. Crazy. My head is spinning. I’ll be including July availability in the next few hours, too.
I need to make a quick note about wedding availability. It has happened that on the same day I received two separate calls from two separate people about covering the same wedding day. I know that sounds unlikely, but in reality, that is bound to happen more often than not. There are only so many weekends in a year. For those that have asked, it takes a $500 non-refundable retainer and a signed contract to book/hold your date. As harsh as it may sound, it is on a first pay - first serve basis. I hate saying that. I know that sounds so cold and businesslike (it’s definitely not my usual style) but unfortunately, it can get very tricky when you’re meeting with sooo many potential clients about dates. So to any future brides out there considering me (or anyone else, for that matter) to be their wedding photographer, having a meeting with a photographer is not the same as booking one and I just need to make clear.
On a softer and more personal note… more of my baby. Yes, my children are photographed quite a bit and yet, not enough. It’s so sad. Even I wish some of the ideas I envisioned for them had materialized into photographs, but sometimes you’re just busy living life. And life with this rambunctious child can be quite full, indeed.
This first one on the pink moon chair just kills me. I mean those lips!! Love, love, love them! The second one was her escpaing the chair and giving me the look. She was quite proud of herself.
