I had a great time photographing Rene and Colleen’s big day. They were married at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and had their reception at The El Paso Club in downtown El Paso (great venue, by the way).  There were so many images that I really did love and so maybe, when it’s all said and done, I’ll let you all in on a little slideshow.  For now, some images.

I have a huge post from a fab wedding that took place this Saturday that I will be posting soon. For now, however, a couple portraits (my style) of one of the groomsman whom I affectionately referred to as “fauxhawk”. Loved the hairdo.  So much so, it had to have it’s own post.  All in good fun.

Some happy images to start my week off.

I have been beyond busy, but I’m not complaining.  Just letting you all know that I’m still here.  I’ve updated my availablity.  It’s on the website under “book your date”.  Remember, at least half of $200 retainer is due upon booking to reserve a date. Spring fever has definitely hit and so sessions are going fast.

Now I’m left with tons of images to go through from all sorts of great sessions.  Sometimes when I decide to blog a session, I go through the images rather quickly and choose a few that jump out at me.  Then, later, when I sit down to really work them, I find other favs.  Such the case with this session.  So many that I loved.  I mean, just look at that face.

This year it is my aim to photograph more teens and seniors. Like most of youth, I find the teen years fascinating and fleeting.  I think teenagers should be photographed in a way that is more real to them.  I mean, who doesn’t want to feel as though they, too, could be on the cover of a magazine?

Below are some images from our first session (more sessions will follow).  It was out get-to-know you session and it was great. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but she is serious sweetness on the inside.  I really dig that.  Beauty, brains, and a sweet spirit.  Can’t ask for anything more.
