Who Am I?

Hello!  I am Cristina, a photographer
specializing in photographing love, marriage, and babies.  The whole bit.  A little thing we call life.

I LOVE  what I do.                       LOVE what I do.

I tear up at every wedding I shoot (just a teeny bit) because I am madly, deeply in love with weddings and what they represent.

I have two beautiful girls who are the center of my universe and totally rock my world. Yes, I photograph them often.

I have a husband who not only supports me and my crazy endevors, but completely encourages me to have them in the first place.  For his support, I am beyond thankful.

I grew up watching black and white movies.

For six years I lived near the beaches of California and it changed my life.

I am blessed. by. God.         Immensly.

And I am completely honored that you've stopped by to have a small look at life through my lens.  I do hope enjoy it and stop by often.

::hey jude::

There is no denying that the Beatles were amazing and that they have a ton of great, great songs.  I love many of them, but one of my favorites is most definitely “Hey Jude”.    I don’t what it is about that song that I love so much.  Perhaps it is the song’s split personality or the fact that I get to belt out the “na na na na na na na….” part.  It just makes me feel good.  The fact that this Mom and Dad named their little one Jude (his Dad is a huge Beatles fan) is totally cool. I love the name, but more than the name,  I’m sooo in love with him.  He is definitely a miracle and a baby they have long been waiting for.  I am just so happy he’s here and healthy and perfect. It was a joy to photograph him in all his perfect newborn glory.  Welcome to the world, Jude.  That definitely has a ring to it.

::three::

I haven’t had the chance to blog some of my latest child sessions.  I’ve been shooting a lot lately and therefore, have seldom been in the office (something that usually happens during Spring Break). Yet, I have had quite a few portraits sessions which have resulted in some great images and I desperately need to blog some of them before I blog yet another wedding.

These two brothers are seriously too cute. Too cute! I first photographed the older one when he was about two years old and he’s still stunning to look at. And they both have AMAZING eyes!

Then there’s this little one.  My third session with her. Her Mom wanted images of her on this bed for since probably before she was born.  Now here they are.

Then there’s my cover girl.  The new face of my homepage and the little sister to a former covergirl.

Three different sessions with three different looks, lighting situations, backgrounds, children…  and I love them all.

::engaged - colleen and rene::

I wish I had more time to post today.  I’m heading out to a session and then to visit my beloved Grandmother who is in the Hospital.  I WILL be posting more from this engagement session in the next few days.  I just felt the need to blog even the teeniest today.  Have a great weekend everyone!

**UPDATED**

Thankfully my Grandmother seems to be doing better.  Still in the Hospital, but we’ve escaped the need for surgery.  Something many people were praying for.  I’m beyond thankful for that.  So, I’m just now getting the opportunity to update this blog entry with some more yummy images.

These last two images did not happen as was planned.  The place we were going to use was blocked off for whatever reason and so we had to pull over on the side of the road and shoot a few last shots before the sun dissapeared.  I’m glad we did because I do love the look of these.
