*UPDATE*
Now I don’t always do this, but this is the best response I think I’ve ever had to a blog posting. From the Bride-to-be: “Oh my goodness I just saw them! wow wow wow! I love them! You did so well! More than I could have imagined on such a terrible day! Thank you so so much! I’m just gushing! The pictures look like firecracker happiness! Marvelous!” It was in pink, bold letters, too. Firecracker happiness?! That’s so cool.
*ORIGINAL POST*
It was sooo cold (and windy) during this session. I really thought there would be a cancellation. So when there wasn’t, all I could was pray they’d still be good sports about it. I felt a bit of added pressure because the groom-to-be is a pastor at my church so I really didn’t want to mess this one up. After all, I see him every Sunday.
We’ll, they were beyond good sports. The cold meant the coats stayed on for most of the shoot, and well, I actually really love that look. The wind meant Denise’s gorgeous hair would be an occasional problem. But it also meant that the images would have great movement to them. In the end, I had a great, great time. I hope they are as happy with them as I am. It was worth the parking ticket I got to get them:)

We were virtually out of light, but we had to stop for just a few more shots and I love pushing my camera to see what it can do in low light. I’m glad I did because I love the grainy, moodiness of this shot. It’s what I love.
