There are so many great images that come out of these 20 minute mini-sessions. I can’t wait to post a few sessions to showcase just how many great images you can get in just 20 minutes time.
Until then, here’s one frame that I love.

So it’s two in the morning and I’ve just finished burning a few CDs, proofing a couple of sessions, answering a few emails and I think to myself, “It’s 2 am… maybe I should blog…?” Yes. It’s sleepy delusion that makes me stay up just a little bit longer to blog pictures…with actual words. Never mind trying to think of a clever blog title. And yet every once in a while that’s exactly what I do. Still, deciding I want to blog is an easy decision compared to deciding what I want to blog. See, when you shoot often and don’t blog often, that list of possible posts is pretty darn long. I have some major wedding awesomeness to blog…THE loveliest engagement sessions…Some personal stuff… make that TONS of personal stuff…. cute kid overload… Tonight it was an easy decision, though.
I loved this couple. Loved that we went downtown to shoot their maternity session. Loved how casual and funny they were the entire time. Seriously, they are going to be the best parents. And yes… she’s teeny. I was completely jealous. Seriously. I mean, the fact that I had to make sure she was actually looking pregnant in the shot made me rather ill, actually. No… it’s not fair at all. ;) So Miss Melanie… here I am at 3 in the morning wishing you the best delivery ever!

So, I’ve returned from New York and I have so much to catch up on. From phone calls, emails, to editing (of course…always editing), I am knee deep in work. Still, I will not give up on blogging. I said I’d do more of it and I’m committed to that. So here are a few maternity images of a former bride who is now a glowing mom-to-be.
She didn’t think she was glowing, but she was.
Some black and whites of a former bride and a future Mom.
